Our community is home to some of the best events and most breathtaking scenery in the United States!

Citizens State Bank is headquartered in Southeast Tennessee's Marion County in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley.  This seventy-mile-long and five-mile-wide valley runs from upper Bledsoe County, Tennessee to northern Jackson County, Alabama and is bordered on the east by Walden's Ridge and on the west by the Cumberland Plateau.  In the valley CSB has banking offices in Marion County and banking offices in Grundy County on the plateau.

Some of the annual events in our community are:

National Cornbread Festival - Cornbread and it's best friend cast iron are celebrated in this festival held in downtown South Pittsburg, Tennessee on the last weekend in April featuring cornbread cook-offs, music, crafts, a carnival, a road race, and a tour of historic homes.

Depot Days - Stevenson, Alabama hosts this festival each June celebrating the town's railroad heritage with craft fairs, music, and tours.

Ketner's Mill Country Fair - This event is held each October on the banks of the Sequatchie River at the last remaining water-powered mill in the Sequatchie Valley and features all the fun of an old-fashioned country fair including music, crafts, food, wagon rides, canoeing, sorghum making, demonstrations, and tours of the mill.

Fall Color Cruise - The boating cruise in this annual Fall event begins at the Marion County line where the river enters the Tennessee River Gorge and ends at the Hales Bar Marina for a weekend of music, food, and arts & crafts.

Grand Nationals Drag Boat Races -  Drag boats from across the United States and Canada are entered in this 2-day nationally televised event held on Nickajack Lake near Jasper on the second weekend in October.

Siege at Bridgeport - Bridgeport, Alabama's importance as a shipping center during the Civil War is the theme of this event held on the fourth weekend of March each year.
